My love of horses started at a very early age.  I was unable to ride as a child but I never lost the passion or the desire. I purchased my first horse in 1982, it was the start of an amazing journey that I could never have predicted.

In the early 1990s I purchased a warmblood with an aim to show dressage. The story of the development of our relationship, how we learned to dance together, and how he led me to finding Bowen and bodywork, is long but filled with treasured adventures.

Through my beloved horse and a bio-mechanics clinic back in 2000 I discovered the Bowen Technique. It was the beginning of a journey of self-exploration and deep learning that ultimately led me to who I am today.

Since 2001 I have been offering the Bowen Technique for people. In 2003 I added Equine and Canine Bowen. My quest for knowledge and deeper understanding has led me to take many courses in different modalities, human and animal, with some amazing and gifted teachers. What I offer today is a unique way of working that is the result of that journey.

Along the way I have learned to tune into my intuitive nature and the horses respond by opening up to me. They teach me constantly; it is a gift that humbles me and fills me with gratitude.

I have been offering Bowen and other forms of bodywork to people and animals since 2001. Many people comment on my ‘magic hands’ as I have the ability to intuitively and energetically find those places that most need to be released, as well as what level the release will occur. The horses will release on exactly the level that they are ready to release on – physical, mental, emotional, energetic. My work is to be the catalyst for them to let go.

As part of the work that I do with horses I often like to see them being ridden so that I can assess what is happening. My dressage training gives me unique insights that help both horse and rider. Because this has proven so important I decided to offer Dressage coaching. It fits beautifully into the work that I already do.
